Mild steel products:
Pedge planters are constructed using 3mm mild steel and are acid etched then sealed using Penatrol.Robert plumb recommentds that they are resealed every 6 to 12 months with Penatrol, a product which is commerciallly available from all good hardware stores. The planters will rust and mark when placed on tiled surfaces and for this reasons it is advised that they are placed only on gravel, deck and older style surfaces such as sandstone flaffing and brick paving.
Pedge planters can also be supplied untreated in the event that they are proposed to be painted. Please ensure that they are rust primed prior to painting.
